Brent BernardM.Ed. LPCC-S, is the owner of Keep Moving Forward Counseling. Brent is a Master’s Level, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Supervisory Designation, (M.Ed. LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio, and Xavier University graduate. Brent has been licensed for over 21 years and has devoted his 29 plus year career to the mental health profession. Brent has a breadth of experience and specializes in working with anxiety, marriage/relationship counseling, depression, addiction, LGBT, and adolescent counseling. Brent utilizes a broad array of therapeutic techniques that are client focused and strength-based, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Hyponotherapy, Mindfulness and Meditation, Solution Focused Therapy, & Motivational Interviewing. What is important to know is Brent will focus entirely on what you want to achieve and will work at your pace, following your agenda. In short, you are in the driver's seat, and the therapist is there as a guide on your journey; to help you avoid the roadblocks and barriers that prevent you from achieving success.

Yalanda Smith-Hudlin MA, MCJ, LPCC, LICDC IIis a Yalanda Smith-Hudlin is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III (LCDC III) in the State of Ohio. She earned her Master of Counseling in Mental/Health/Chemical Dependency from Wright State University, Master of Criminal Justice in Forensic Psychology from Tiffin University, and currently working on her dissertation for her Doctorate of Public Policy and Administration in Health Services from Walden University. After years working in human services, she has provided services to many populations of all ages in various environments. She has worked in her clients’ home environments providing parenting training and family therapy. She has worked in a Dayton school district providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families as well as in adolescent and adult outpatient and residential facilities and correctional facilities.
Areas of Focus: Provide therapy services to Adults, Adolescents, Children, and Families. Treatment of : Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression, Trauma, Stress Management, Self-Harm, Parent-Child Relational Problems, Suicidal Ideation and Behavior, Substance Abuse, Anger Management, Grief/Loss, Post Traumatic Stress, Relationship Distress, Crisis Management, Impulse Control Disorder. Dr. Chelsea Bennett Ed.D LISWis a Licensed Independent Social Worker and doctoral graduate from Union Institute and University. She has a combined 10 years of experience working with children, families, and couples. Chelsea has a breadth of experience helping people with a broad range of concerns including individuals with a history of trauma, couples, families, and those impacted in the criminal justice system. Chelsea works with individuals ages 10 and up.

With a spirit of compassion and nonjudgement, I help people move beyond the issues that limit their joy in life through a unique blend of psychotherapy. Shawnmari Kaiser, MSW, LISWis a Licensed Independent Social Worker. She has a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California with over twenty five years of clinical and educational experience working with clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings where she has provided crisis intervention, counseling, and support in areas of both short-term adjustment difficulties as well as chronic long-term mental health needs. She has a breadth of experience involving terminal illness and other forms of trauma. Shawnmari's successes also includes working with depression, anxiety, addiction, and life transitions related to retirement and senior living. She has recently begun accepting Medicare. Shawnmari works with individuals ages 18 & up. She is also an Adjunct Professor for the School of Social Work at the University of Southern California where she has been teaching for 7 years through their Virtual Academic Center.

David J Meadows, MSW, LISWis a Licensed Independent Social Worker. He has a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. David has honed his clinical skills with certificates in cognitive behavioral therapy, personality disorders, motivational interviewing, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma. He is currently working on his certification in dialectical behavior therapy. David utilizes a broad range of techniques including meditation, mindfulness, and breathing techniques and will work with you to find coping skills to help manage distress and anxiety. David works best with people living with depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, and abuse. David's interests include helping people who experience chronic trauma and PTSD as well as those individuals who identify as adult children of alcoholics and dysfunctional homes.
